Ancillary Boards
In addition to our Board of Directors, we have four Ancillary Boards comprised of individuals who are committed to our mission and serve as ambassadors and fundraisers for The Center. The Ancillary Boards are the Women’s Board, the Homewood Community Board, the Mokena Community Board, and the Junior Board. We welcome you to join one of these boards and become a leader of The Center.

Women’s Board
Deborah Okleshen, President
The Women’s Board meets every third Tuesday of the month at 4pm at the Homewood location to organize supportive programs in addition to planning fundraising events. Join this amazing group of dedicated women passionate about our participants.

Homewood Community Board
Brent Bachus, President
The Homewood Community Board is comprised of people living in the great Homewood and Flossmoor areas who gather quarterly to discuss how to best serve as ambassadors for The Center and to sponsor social events and fundraising activities. If you are looking for a way to take a stand on cancer while also having fun, this is the group for you.
Junior Board
Dan Breen, President
The Junior Board is comprised of young professionals who meet monthly to organize special events and fundraisers for The Center. This group is a great way to meet younger adults who know cancer sucks and want to do something about it!

Mokena Community Board
Jen Adams, President
The Mokena Community Board is comprised of residents from Mokena and its surrounding communities including Frankfort, New Lenox, Tinley Park, and Orland Park. This group meets regularly to organize special events and fundraisers for The Center while spreading the word about our programs. If you want to make a difference in the lives of many touched by cancer in this community, here is your group to join!
